Innovation Day hosted by Bridgeport High School
BRIDGEPORT, Neb. (KNEP) -Bridgeport High School gave its students the opportunity to explore many topics on Innovation Day.
Students learn about different topics affecting the area, some of the groups at the event included: Western Nebraska Community College which allowed students to explore its CDL program, and the Nebraska State Patrol which featured speakers on current drug trends in the panhandle as well as distracted drivers.
“The students had an opportunity to go around and see different things and learn a little bit about what we have here in Bridgeport, and then programs the college has to offer. Then we also had the opportunity with guest speakers and with 21st Century Equipment with their new stem mobile lab for junior high students,” mentioned Bridgeport High School Principal George Schlothauer.
Bridgeport High School will be looking for speakers and event participants for next year’s event, for those who may have questions please contact Bridgeport High School: (308) 262-1470.
