Falling temps with more storms possible Thursday/Friday

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb (KNEP)- This stormy pattern will continue for a few days. While temperatures will not be as hot on Thursday, more storms will form in the afternoon and become widespread Thursday night. Again severe weather will be a threat with damaging winds and large hail the primary threat.

Showers and occasional thunderstorm will continue during the morning and afternoon hours of Friday, with storm tapering off late Friday night. Plenty of moisture will be in place with the potential for some generous amounts of rain in areas. Only slight chances for thunderstorms are possible Saturday and Sunday with more stable conditions expected early next week.

Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 80s, with mid to upper 70s Friday through Saturday. Sunday into Tuesday afternoon highs will climb back into the 80s.
